Are there hitboxes in Guild Wars? If so, alternate races could potentially create an imbalance in PvP, unless the same set of hitboxes for a human were used for Dwarves, Animal-races, etcetera, which would of course blow the realism factor out the window (swing at human head level, hit a Dwarf in the legs? Excuse me?). I suppose it could still cause problems even if the hitbox system isn't around (I am quite aware that Guild Wars is not an FPS), depending on how the hit percentages work out (higher altitude = more chance to hit head, therefore Human will always score a "headshot" on a Dwarf, creating imbalance).
It could potentially destroy PvP, and it would almost definitely make PvE even easier than it already is for many people. Why screw with the game mechanics and lore just because you don't like looking human? Along with all of that, I agree with the fact that multiple races are a blight upon the RPG world, and shouldn't be viewed as a necessity in every RPG-like game.
As if it wasn't already obvious...

And since there are so very many threads about this already in existance, when there should really only be one, maybe it's time to start cleaning them up.
Topic locked; please continue discussion in a previously existing thread, preferrably the one listed in our wonderful Index of Ideas (hint, hint ).
